Becoming a Member

How can I become a member? 

• You can purchase memberships in person at the box office, by calling our Advance Sales line at 713-639-4629, or through our online box office. 

When is my membership active? 

• Membership terms begin on the date of purchase and expire at the end of the month the following year. 

How do I access my membership? 

• Your benefits begin as soon as your membership transaction is processed. Please note that memberships purchased through our website may take up to 3-5 business days to process. 
• Upon your first visit, the box office will print out your membership cards. 
• You can also purchase member-priced tickets in advance by logging in to your membership account or calling our Advance Sales line at 713-639-4629. 

Can I buy a membership for someone else? 

• Absolutely! Give the gift of membership so your family and friends can enjoy all the museum has to offer for a full year! You can purchase gift memberships in person at the box office, by calling our Advance Sales line at 713-639-4629, or through our gift membership portal. 
• Gift memberships purchased online will take 3-5 business days to be processed and activated.
• Gift memberships purchased in person or over the phone should be active immediately upon completion.
